At a certain point in my life I wanted to find more music than what I heard (about) on bigger blogs, at parties, etc. Part of that comes from my background as a musician, part from being a semi-obsessive fan. A lot of this music comes from my hunting around smaller blogs, record stores, and from playing shows.
Most of the posts here are about records that fell into obscurity as an accident of time, or about newer records that didn’t get the coverage I thought they deserved. They’re about records or songs you might have missed on the first pass, but are still worth checking out. Most of these records are not new: some have been around for months, some for decades. If it’s new to you, though, that’s what’s most important.

The idea of posting the songs here is that you’ll be interested enough to find the entire album on your own. Not that you’ll just download the songs here and then stop.
